To stride for the abused, neglected, starving and humiliated. Our women and children who face physical and emotional violence every day.
I stand for a peaceful and safe environment in our homes, at work, in our schools and on our streets.
I stand alongside our sisters and brothers.
Together, we will break the cycle of violence.
Not only for these 16 days.
But for all the days to come.
Because I know that what we start today will change our tomorrow.
Today I pledge to change the world we live in.
To act responsibly, live responsibly and drink responsibly.
For our women.
Our children.
And the good of our country.
This is my promise.
